OH..MY DOG..! (a true short story of discovery)
It started about six years ago when our old Lassie collie which was getting on in years, first became deaf, then his sight became poor ans well as his sense of smell. Within a short time his back legs began to give way and he coud'nt get up and down the two steps in and out of the garden. His deteriation accelerated and he became listless; until one morning he was found unmoving with no interest in food or water. He tried to stand but his back legs would not support his efforts.
